My experience with Jalits Ingatlan (Budapest real estate agency) In June 2026, I hired Jalits Ingatlan to find a tenant for my apartment in Budapest. Unfortunately, my experience with the agency was very disappointing. The agency introduced a tenant who, in my experience, had not been adequately vetted. After the security deposit was paid, I did not receive the full rent as agreed. By the second month, the tenant stopped paying altogether and also created several problems during the tenancy. What disappointed me most was the lack of support from Jalits Ingatlan. Despite my repeated requests for assistance, I did not see any meaningful action from the agency to help resolve the situation or to protect my interests as their client. I felt that my concerns were largely ignored. I understand that no real estate agency can completely guarantee a tenant’s future behavior. However, I expected professional support, clear communication, and proactive assistance once problems arose, especially since I had paid Jalits Ingatlan for their services.
